Notice of General Assembly
January 18th and 19th, 2026 (Online Meeting)

 

Dear Members,

You are hereby notified that the MASU General Assembly of the Members will be held exclusively online (via videoconferenceplatform) on the following dates and times:

• First Call: Sunday, January 18th, 2026, at 03:00 AM (Italian Time).
• Second Call: Monday, January 19th, 2026, at 06:00 PM (Italian Time).

The Assembly will meet to discuss and deliberta on te following:

1. Update on Member Associations: Communication regarding the total number of associations currently affiliated with the Federation.
2. Statute Amendment and Member Census: Progress update on the revision of the Bylaws/Statute. Each member association is formally requested to declare their current number of individual members to allow for the definition of proportional membership fees.
3. WFUMB International Relations – Scientific Proposals for Lima 2027: In view of the WFUMB 2027 Congress in Lima, Peru, each association is invited to appoint a delegate to submit scientific presentation proposals.
   –  Internal Deadline: Proposals must be submitted to the Federation Presidency by January 25th.
   –  WFUMB Final Deadline: The Federation will submit the final selection to WFUMB by January 31st.
   –  Guidelines: A minimum of 3 titles per presenter is suggested. Please be reminded that the final selection and program composition are at the sole discretion of the congress organizers.
4. Financial Report and Current Expenses:
   – Update on the current bank balance.
   – Approval of expenses for the WFUMB annual membership fee.
   – Approval of fees for the Italian accountant assisting in the drafting of the updated Statute.
5. Any Other Business (AOB).

The meeting will take place online. The link to the virtual room will be shared via email shortly before the meeting.
